Technical Audit and Project Consultancy

We prioritize information retrieval as a cornerstone of our approach. Acting as consultants, we engage closely with all relevant parties—Investors, Consultants, Users-Operators, and Maintenance Performers—on every project.

By understanding and anticipating our customers' needs and expectations, we identify the optimal solution for a reliable and easy-to-manage project. Our use of advanced software tools for selection, performance, energy analysis, and ROI simulation ensures we deliver tailored, objective advice for your plant. Data drives our recommendations for the most suitable cooling or water treatment technology, considering installation footprint, production process, thermal gradients, water quality, and operational costs. Our thorough initial audit includes on-site visits and evaluations of your existing processes, ensuring the accurate implementation of our proposed design solutions. Our plant inspection audit targets the water treatment parameters optimalization, generates the basic design technical solution that will be the pillar of the next step.

In our region, we observe an increasing demand from industries for specialized water treatment solutions for niche production wastewater streams. These solutions aim to ensure environmental compliance, as well as to reduce, reuse, and recover water or valuable solids. Jumping directly into system design for these wastewater streams is too risky, as it relies on assumptions that need validation. Conducting a feasibility assessment first helps avoid future large-scale issues such as inappropriate design, subpar performance, and additional financial costs.

Custom Basic Design and Proposal

Custom Basic Design based on process engineering is a crucial phase for a successful project, being the blueprint for effectively integrating Consultech’s proposals. By the end of this stage, you will have comprehensive technical specifications and operating requirements for each piece of equipment in our tender package.

Process parameters such as input and output load, temperature, pressure, and flow rates are critical to process quality and efficiency. Building on the process engineering phase, basic design translates this understanding into a preliminary physical layout. This layout can be in the form of a containerized solution, standalone equipment, or an integrated system tailored to the project's needs.

Additionally, we identify the utility requirements (electricity, water, compressed air, etc.) for the new equipment, ensuring compatibility with existing systems, and calculate the OPEX and ROI.

Project Management and Implementation

Our Project Manager is involved in the custom initial design and technical proposal, then oversees your project from the kick-off meeting to successful installation. He plans, coordinates, and manages all phases, ensuring the delivered technology and services meet customer requirements.

Each Consultech project is unique, requiring meticulous control of every technical aspect and specification (budget, planning, implementation, commissioning). Our project team emphasizes health and safety, ensuring the implementation phase is secure for all personnel. We pride ourselves on successfully completing complex projects in oil and gas, pulp and paper, food and beverage, healthcare, and special applications for law enforcement and military clients.

Project durations vary: short for less complex tasks, medium (several months), or long-term (up to 2 years) for projects with long manufacturing lead times and complex implementation.

Startup and Commissioning

The startup stage involves the initial cold run and testing of the newly installed equipment supplied by Consultech, whether it's a cooling tower, a centrifugal decanter, a reverse osmosis skid, or a complete container system. The main objective is to safely activate the equipment and verify its functionality. Utility activation, such as power supply, water, and compressed air, is followed by the initial operation: starting the equipment under controlled conditions and monitoring its performance through sensors and gauges. Safety system checks ensure all interlocks, alarms, and shut-off mechanisms function correctly, as many of our solutions include high speed rotating assemblies or explosionproof configurations.

Commissioning ensures the entire integrated system (new equipment, existing machinery, and control systems) works together efficiently, safely, and meets your needs, including remote communication. Further steps include functional testing, calibration, adjustments, and performance optimization.

Finally, detailed reports and documents are prepared during the documentation stage, to record the commissioning process, test results, and final equipment settings for future reference and maintenance. Training the customer's technical team is a key target, ensuring they receive thorough explanations for any questions or doubts."

Revamping and Upgrades

We have expanded our expertise in revamp projects, overhauling and refurbishing industrial machinery to increase production without replacing your equipment.

Our trained staff can identify the root cause of your issues and offer redesign and replacement options to fit your budget and performance needs. Services include component replacement (new casing, new basin), thermal performance enhancement (new fills, new distribution system), structure upgrades, mechanical refurbishment (new fan, new gearmotor), and HSE compliance (maintenance doors, ladders, handrails, new safety relays, new sensors and so on)

Rental of Systems

Our rental services have been growing rapidly since we started this new activity in 2022. We cater to a wide range of needs, from short-term to long-term interventions. Whether you need assistance with emergency situations, planned seasonal requirements, scheduled maintenance and refurbishments, or multi-year demands, we are here to help. Our services are backed by key partners that complement Consultech’s rental fleet.

Our rental equipment is built on our extensive industrial experience, including water filter skids for suspended solids in open cooling circuits, ATEX skids for chemical cleaning of heat exchangers and other industrial equipment, open circuit cooling towers up to 3 MW each, plate heat exchanger skids, and mobile sludge dewatering containers or skids for municipal and industrial sludge up to 25 m³/h each. We also offer sludge pump and macerator skids, polymer automatic systems, all integrated with pumps, flexible connections, and power and control cabinets. Our technical operators, supported by a fleet of vans and trailers, ensure fast deployment and smooth operation.
